Every Labby leash is handmade, right here in Ellsworth, Maine, to the same standard using quality rock climbing rope, high visibility paracord, and an optional locking carabiner.
Our leashes are just different. Our focus is on blending strength, durability and unmistakable styling. Sure... you could find a cheaper leash... and what would Fido think about that? The SHAME!
At the toe and the crown of the handle are utility loops. Why... you ask? Well... would Batman still be Batman without his utility belt? Thought so...
The Difference is in the Handle!
The magic is in the handle... the proprietary handle provides stability and control when your pup goes nose down and digs in for the pull.
A multi-layer handle with a stabilized core means that with a utility knife and a little bit of work, in a pinch you can unspool a layer of your Labby leash handle to utilize approximately 7 to 8 feet of paracord. Cord that could be used in an emergency situation while you and your pup are out and about. The reinforced handle core and the remaining paracord will maintain the stability of the leash long enough for you and your pup to return to safety!
I'm quite confident that if Hattori Hanzo made dog leashes, they'd be Labby leashes!
